Tell me about a time when you were unsatisfied with the status quo. What did you do to change it? What was the impact? Would you do anything differently in the future?
這個問題主要是想從故事中了解到當你不滿意現狀時 你會做出什麼改變? 不用想的太復雜 一個簡單的故事場景就可以描述完成
I remembered when I just join Northrop Grumman, a defense government contract company. The company is involved with a lot of top-secret information, and the tools they are using are very different compared to commercial companies. I did not understand a lot of terminologies or tools that they are using. The onboarding documents were also not very clear or out of date. I was unsatisfied with my onboarding speed because I want to contribute to the team as soon as possible.
I start digging into all the information, ask people who have been with the team for a while, and tried to extract as much as information I could. I also don't want other new team members to run into the same situation that I've been through, so I updated the onboarding documents and wrote a list of acronyms, this way new members can better understand what people are saying in the meetings.
I got great feedback from other team members who join the company after me. I would do the same thing again if I encounter the same situation again.
